WW 081 1598 World , ancient - the famous cartographic treasure "Geographia Sacra" by Ortelius. This truly rare map was printed on two joined pieces of paper and time has taken its toll of this -expert repairs do not completely hide some loss where  the join became separated. Ask for the set of scans - one is above but there are 2 others. Only 200 were printed and 140 exist in complete atlases so there can be no more than 60 possible owners of this princely rarity if all survived! Abraham Ortelius Unmounted Coloured 535x410 250

Exceptionally attractive large showpiece. All text  in French but easy enough to follow if you had school French. Attractive hand colouring of central map.
