We have been able to list a stunning collection of old Irish steel engravings - we do not divide them between present-day Eire and Ulster [but most fall within Eire]. Most of these were acquired uncoloured - we colour tint them to order. The prices below are coloured and mounted/matted but we may be able to supply uncoloured for those who prefer their prints au naturelle. The Victorian tradition was to have the engravings coloured if you had the skills or the money to pay others to do it. Our studio colours to the very highest possible standard and our work is shown by museums and galleries the whole world over.

Sizes are all in millimetres.

 Engravings before 1820 were normally made on copper plates and after 1860 on wood. The middle period offers the finest quality steel engravings.
