Normally steel engravings - but pre-1820 will usually be copper and post-1860 will normally be wood.  Colouring is hand-colouring unless otherwise stated.

BH 182 1784 Buckinghamshire - Stewkley Church. We are enormously proud of the detective work we did on this one. The print is titled "Stvecle Church" Perhaps this was intended for Stuecle Church? The view shows the church with corner pediments on the tower and a Saxon cross as a spire - all missing today so this is a valuable historical record. Hand coloured from a copper plate engraving.
